Ecofriendly YYC
Environmental sustainability carries its uncertainties within the Calgarian Community. We want to educate the public with scientific information, as well as inspire and inform people on how to make changes that will benefit their life, and the environment.
2021 Mission Statement
Ecofriendly YYC is a platform focused on informing the public about valuable scientific information from existing research relating to global warming and social problems.
We aim to educate, inspire and influence people to become more aware of current issues (locally and globally) along with promoting environmental conservation and sustainability
We will be promoting local businesses, not-for-profit organizations, storytellers, and scientists to hopefully inspire you to live a more environmentally conscious life.
Environmental Education
Provide the public with information. We hope to be a communicative link between scientific research and the citizens. By doing research, conducting surveys, creating posts, and sharing knowledge we hope to enable the understanding of how every decision we make has its environmental costs.
Inspire A Sustainable Lifestyle
We don't want to only focus on what people are doing wrong. We hope to inspire people to live an Eco-friendly lifestyle, so we plan to provide resources that will help you make positive changes.
Blog posts, tips, ideas, diets, etc. We want to show you what you can do to live a lifestyle that is healthy, not just for the environment, but also for you.
Influence Environmentally Conscious Actions
We want to connect like-minded people together. To build a community with a common goal of making Calgary a more environmentally friendly and sustainable city. The vision of a greener Calgary can only be achieved if there are cooperation and collaboration between individuals.
